About Hunter Supercruise
Hunter Supercruise is a performance car business based in Newcastle that hires out wedding and formal cars across the Hunter, with the Hunter Valley vineyards inside its listed area. Both cars come with a driver, so the couple simply steps out at the ceremony and the reception. The Lamborghini is a yellow 2009 Gallardo Superleggera with a V10, paddle shifters and a black race-style cabin. The other choice is a 1968 Camaro SS in show-car red with white bumblebee stripes, original left-hand drive, houndstooth trim and a big-block 502 cubic inch V8 under the bonnet, kept for weddings, formals and general hire. Most wedding bookings collect the bride, or both of you, for the ceremony, stay on for photos and finish at the reception. These are two-door sports cars with limited seating, so they suit the couple rather than a whole bridal party, and many couples book separate transport for everyone else. Hire is charged hourly, starting with a single hour. A travel fee may apply for the vineyards and the Upper Hunter, and it is calculated when you book. The Lamborghini also does 20-minute passenger joyrides, which make a popular gift, and gift vouchers are available.

Frequently asked questions
Which cars are available for a Hunter Valley wedding?
There are two: the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, a 2009 car in yellow, and the 1968 Camaro SS in red with white stripes. Each is driven for you, and only weddings, formals and general hire are offered in the Camaro.
How much does wedding car hire cost?
One hour in the Camaro costs $300 and two hours $500, with further hours at $200 each. For the Lamborghini it is $400 for an hour, $700 for two and $300 an hour after that. Prices can change, so confirm them when you book.
Is there a travel fee for vineyard venues?
A travel fee may be added for bookings at the vineyards or in the Upper Hunter. The amount is calculated when you book, based on where the car needs to go.
Can the bridal party ride too?
Not really. Each car is a two-door sports model with very limited seating, so it is meant for the two of you rather than the whole wedding party; ask about seating when you enquire.
Are Lamborghini joyrides sold as gifts?
Yes. A 20-minute passenger joyride for one person costs $199, and gift vouchers can be bought for it.

While the weather didn't play nice with us on the day (we got a call offering to reschedule and we chose not to) the experience that the Niece and Nephew purchased for my Dad was excellent. He got to enjoy a ride around…
