About Fantastic Aussie Tours
Fantastic Aussie Tours is a coach and tour company that has been operating out of the Blue Mountains since 1974. Two families own and run it, and the founders' son now manages the business. Alongside day tours and school travel, it offers private charter for weddings, birthdays, Christmas parties, team building days and other group events. The standout vehicle for celebrations is Scarlet Rose, a 1954 Ansair Flxible Clipper the family rescued as an empty shell and rebuilt. She seats up to 18, with three removable tables ringed by booth seats for 12, a bar fridge and sink with running water, air conditioning, a Bluetooth sound system and an onboard restroom. Couples use her to travel to the ceremony, between photo spots and on to the reception, with a glass of sparkling on board. For bigger groups the fleet steps up through minibuses, red double-decker buses and touring coaches, from 5 seats to 79. Every coach has seatbelts, heating and air conditioning, a PA system and large windows, and every driver is accredited and able to give tour commentary. The team can handle the logistics of a wedding or event – guest shuttles between venues and accommodation, taking the stress out of parking, and a short sightseeing loop for guests while the couple has photos taken.
