About Ghost Booth Events
Ghost Booth Events is a family business based in Melbourne that supplies photo booths, signage, guestbooks and decor to weddings, milestone birthdays and corporate functions, including winery and estate venues in the Yarra Valley. Gina Balic founded it after working in graphic and stationery design, while her sister Alissa looks after operations, so the printed side is treated as seriously as the booth itself. Rather than a tablet, each booth runs on a DSLR with studio lights and a dye-sub printer. Setup and pack-down are included, along with as many sessions and prints as guests like, face detection so each person in a shot gets a copy, your pick of backdrop, animated GIFs, sharing by text or email, and a gallery online within 24 hours. At Yarra Valley receptions the team usually places the booth inside, away from terrace wind and dropping daylight, and keeps it running to the last dance. Country roads and long driveways are allowed for by arriving at least 90 minutes before the booth goes live, and when the ceremony and reception share an estate the booth can be set up early and paused until guests move across. The design studio produces menus, bar signs, seating charts, table numbers and welcome signs in linen, mirror or acrylic to suit your invitations. Wishing wells that lock, table numbers and little acrylic signs are available as decor hire, and at work events your branding can appear on the booth, the strips and the GIFs.

Setup and pack-down are handled by the team, and signage and decor come out at no delivery cost when booked with a booth, or you can collect them from the studio in Ravenhall.

Is there a travel charge for a Yarra Valley booking?
Yes. Travel to venues around Coldstream, Yarra Glen and Healesville is priced per event on distance and hire length, and shown as its own line on your quote.
What does a photo booth from Ghost Booth Events cost?
Packages for weddings and private events start from about $935. The final figure depends on the date, the hours and any extras, and work events are priced to the brief.
What space does the booth need?
A level, covered area of about 2 m by 2 m with a power point. At wineries the booth normally goes inside for the reception so the prints aren't affected by wind or fading light.
Should we choose attended or remote hire?
With attended hire a staff member stays for the whole booking, looking after the line and suggesting poses, which suits larger weddings. Remote hire is checked a few times an hour and works for smaller celebrations.
Can the signage match our invitations?
Yes. Seating charts, welcome signs, wishing wells and table numbers are designed as one set using the fonts and colours of your invitations, and you see a proof before anything is made.
