About Boothalicious
Boothalicious is a photo booth hire company based in Melbourne, started by Luke after ten years as a wedding photographer and Ed, who works in editorial photography and video, came on board later. They build their booths by hand and fit each one with a professional camera and studio strobes, so the pictures look more like a portrait sitting than a novelty strip. The Yarra Valley is a regular run, and they are a preferred supplier at Stones of the Yarra Valley and Coombe Yarra Valley. Three booths carry published prices. Lucida is a wall-free open booth for groups of up to 25 with your choice of backdrop, needing about 2 by 2 metres, while Lucida Lux adds beauty lighting and a closer crop for up to eight. The vintage option, Futura Lux, has a brushed-aluminium shell, a curtain and a seat, fits up to 12 and runs without an attendant, and AI, trading card and branded booths are also offered. Each package comes with unlimited sessions and prints, a print about 12 seconds after each pose, QR or email sharing, props, animated GIFs and a custom strip design, plus the complete digital gallery. A person finishes every frame in Portofino, a warm colour style, or Noir, a black-and-white look. Setup happens before guests arrive, so it never cuts into your hire time. The team holds $20 million public liability cover and WorkCover and deals with the venue directly. Travel to the Yarra Valley is quoted with the booking, a 50% deposit holds the date and the balance is due six weeks out – send an enquiry with your date and venue to book.

Frequently asked questions
Does Boothalicious travel to the Yarra Valley?
Yes, the valley is one of their regular runs. The travel cost is worked out per venue and shown in your quote before you commit.
Which booth suits a large group?
Go for Lucida. With no walls it takes groups of up to 25, and it needs roughly 2 by 2 metres of floor, or a little less in a tight room.
Does the vintage booth need an attendant?
No. The curtained Futura Lux works on its own – guests step inside and press the button. Setup is finished before the first guests turn up, and pack-down happens after the event.
Is there a limit on prints?
No. Sessions and prints are unlimited in every package, so a photo with eight people in it can produce eight prints to take home.
What happens to the photos afterwards?
On the night, guests download their shots with a QR code or by email. Afterwards you get the complete digital gallery, each frame retouched by a person in either colour or black and white.
