About The Stellarbrant
The Stellarbrant is Dimitrios, a civil marriage celebrant based in Melbourne who has led more than 800 weddings, including ceremonies out among the Yarra Valley vineyards. His earlier careers in event hire, media and voiceover mean he is comfortable working alongside venue coordinators, photographers and musicians. Ceremonies are paced to feel natural, with some humour and warmth, while the couple stays at the centre. Three packages cover different kinds of wedding. Short & Sweet deals with the legal side alone, which is handy for an elopement, a midweek wedding or a small signing. Quick & Quaint keeps a registry feel while leaving room for your own story, vows or rituals, and the full Stellarbrant package is written from the ground up with a first meeting, help shaping your vows and liaison with your suppliers. Whichever you choose, you receive booklets to help build the ceremony and your vows, a guide to the rehearsal, the completed and lodged legal forms, a microphone and PA, a printed keepsake certificate and a copy of the script. Many of his couples come from Greek, European, interfaith or mixed cultural backgrounds, and he takes care in folding their family customs into a civil service. Most ceremonies run between 15 and 30 minutes, which sits well with a winery timeline of drinks and photos afterwards. Any travel or public holiday charge for a Yarra Valley date is listed in your quote. For receptions that hold the formalities early, a pared-back MC-Lite option can be discussed case by case.

Does The Stellarbrant marry couples in the Yarra Valley?
Yes. Dimitrios conducts ceremonies across the Yarra Valley as well as closer to the city, and any travel cost for your venue is listed in the quote.
Which ceremony package costs the least?
Short & Sweet looks after the legal requirements with a brief ceremony. It costs $550 from Monday to Thursday, rising to $650 on Fridays and Saturdays and $750 on Sundays.
Can our ceremony include Greek or other cultural traditions?
Yes. A large share of his couples are Greek, European, interfaith or multicultural, and he can respectfully include a custom like the stefana crowning while keeping the ceremony civil.
Will there be a rehearsal before a Yarra Valley wedding?
Every couple receives the rehearsal booklet. An in-person rehearsal is part of the full Stellarbrant package, and for a Yarra Valley venue it depends on availability and location, so raise it when you enquire.
Can he host the reception as well?
A full MC service is not part of his offering. Where the formalities come early in the night, an MC-Lite option covering introductions, your entrance, cake cutting, speeches and first dance may be arranged.
