About Novella on the Park
Novella on the Park is a family-run function centre inside Lizard Log Parklands, at the corner of Cowpasture Road and The Horsley Drive in Wetherill Park. The Demarte family has been running events in Western Sydney for decades and moved the business to this parkland site in 2020. The building is on a single level, with three main event rooms – Amaris, Bahira and Catalina – each seating up to 200 at banquet tables. Retractable walls join two rooms into Ilaria or Ravello for up to 400 seated, and all three combine as Requana for up to 750 seated or 800 for a cocktail event. Every room has a timber dance floor, a 180-inch drop-down screen with projector, free wi-fi and its own private courtyard. Outdoors, the Giselle Gazebo in the Amaris Courtyard seats up to 150 for a ceremony and the larger Ravello Courtyard up to 250. Catering is done in-house, from roaming canapés and food stations to grazing buffets and alternate-serve three-course banquets, with beverage packages of wine, beer and soft drinks. For cultural weddings, the venue works with licensed caterers who specialise in traditional cuisine. Birthdays from 18ths and 21sts to milestone 50ths, engagements, weddings, Christmas parties, end-of-year functions and school formals are all hosted, each with a dedicated coordinator. How many guests can Novella on the Park hold?
A single room seats up to 200 at banquet tables, two combined rooms seat up to 400, and the full Requana space seats up to 750 or takes 800 for a cocktail event. Most packages start at 100 guests.
Do you host birthday parties?
Yes – first birthdays, 18ths, 21sts and milestone 50ths are all hosted, as cocktail receptions or seated dinners. Packages are tailored to your guest list and budget.
Can we hold a school formal here?
Yes. School formal packages include exclusive use of the venue, welcome mocktails in the courtyard, a three-course alternate-drop menu, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, an in-house DJ and a parquetry dance floor.
Is there outdoor space?
Each event room has its own private courtyard. The Giselle Gazebo seats up to 150 for a ceremony and the Ravello Courtyard up to 250, and pre-dinner drinks are usually served outside.
Is parking available?
Yes, there are more than 200 free parking spaces on site, and the venue is all on one level for easy access. The M7 and M4 motorways are close by.
