About Arcadia Whisky Lounge
Arcadia Whisky Lounge is a speakeasy-style cocktail bar on North Road in Ormond. It focuses on rare whisky, premium spirits and made-to-order cocktails, served in a room fitted out with warm timber and low, moody lighting. The bar is split into a few areas that can be booked separately or together. The Lounge is the main space, with plush seating and soft amber light, while the Tasting Room is a quieter room set around one long table. Book the whole venue and guests can spread across the lounge corners, the bar and the Tasting Room, plus an arcade area for a louder crowd. The team says a birthday party of 65 fits comfortably, and the house sound system comes with full-venue hire. Food can be picked from the bar menu – shared plates, pizzas, cheese and charcuterie boards – or the kitchen can put together a canapé menu for the event. Outside food isn't allowed for food safety reasons, though you can bring your own celebration cake at no charge, or order one from the in-house baker. Drinks are guided by staff who know the whisky list well, so a booking can include curated drams, flights or a hosted tasting alongside cocktails, beer and wine. There are no set packages; each function is built around guest numbers, style and budget. Instead of a room hire fee, Arcadia asks for a minimum spend that can be used across food and drinks. A deposit secures the date, and the amount depends on the day, the area and the overall budget. Send an enquiry to book.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can Arcadia Whisky Lounge hold for a private party?
With the whole venue booked, the bar can host a birthday party of around 65 guests. Smaller groups can take the Lounge, or the Tasting Room for a private dinner around its single long table.
What are the minimum spends for functions?
There is no venue hire fee; a minimum spend applies instead and can be split across food and drinks. Whole-venue hire starts at $1,750 Monday to Thursday, rising to $2,000 on Sundays, $2,500 on Fridays and $3,000 on Saturdays. The Tasting Room starts from $500 and the Lounge from $900, depending on the day.
Can we bring our own food or a birthday cake?
Outside catering isn't allowed because of food safety rules. A celebration cake is the exception – you can bring your own at no extra cost, or have the in-house baker make one for the event.
Are there set function packages?
No. Arcadia doesn't run fixed packages; the team builds each event around the guest list, style and budget. That can mean choosing dishes from the menu or a designed canapé menu, plus whisky flights, a hosted tasting or cocktails.
Is a deposit needed to secure a date?
Yes. A deposit holds your booking, and the amount varies with the day, the area you book and your overall budget. Send an enquiry to book.

A great hidden bar off North Road inside a old Arcade. Happy friendly staff, unquic decor, fantastic range of drinks at good prices and a varied food menu. We will be returning again soon!
