About Krusin Kombis
Krusin Kombis is a family business based in Lake Macquarie, at Charlestown, and for over a decade it has driven its restored Volkswagen Kombis to weddings and events. It takes Central Coast bookings, including weddings around Wyong and the northern end of the coast near Tuggerah Lakes. Each of the two Kombis does a different job. The super-stretch was extended to fit ten passengers, so the whole bridal party can arrive together, while the original 1960s split-screen in mouse grey seats seven and is often chosen for the couple's photos. Many couples book both, one for the attendants and one for the newlyweds. Each hire runs for 3.5 hours with a uniformed family member driving. Ribbons and styling follow your colour scheme, there is a stocked ice bucket on board, and the van can stop wherever your day requires, covering the getting-ready location, ceremony, photo spots and reception. Weddings make up most bookings, but the Kombis also turn up for school formals, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and photo shoots. The split-screen costs $1,400 and the super-stretch $1,850 for the 3.5 hours. Central Coast venues add $160 per hour of return travel, quoted upfront, and a deposit holds the date.

What deposit secures our date?
Once availability is confirmed, a deposit of 25 per cent of the Kombi's price, with $200 as the minimum, holds the date. The balance is invoiced before the day.
