Clear allOurimbah now has two wedding estates with quite different characters. Bidja Estate on Footts Road is a family-run, style-it-yourself property with a red barn, while Mackay Family Estate on Frederick Street is a French-styled estate built purely for weddings.
Choosing between them comes down to whether you want a blank canvas you fill with your own suppliers or a formal garden setting with catering on hand.
How the two Ourimbah estates compare:
Both estates are set among gardens, so ceremony, drinks and the reception can all happen on one property.

Bidja Estate's barn seats 160 or holds 180 standing, while Mackay Family Estate seats up to 150 in its Banquet Hall and takes 300 for a ceremony on the lawn.
At Bidja Estate, yes: any caterer with public liability insurance can be used, and drinks must be poured by RSA-qualified bartenders from the approved list. Mackay Family Estate lists catering available on its listing.
Bidja Estate's red barn doubles as the wet-weather fallback. Mackay Family Estate moves seated receptions indoors to its Banquet Hall.
Bidja Estate's packages include two nights of onsite accommodation for the couple, with camping or glamping space for guests.
