About Capture You Videography
Capture You Videography is run by Shane, who has filmed weddings around the Illawarra for more than ten years. He started after filming a friend's wedding and finding the result outshone his own wedding video. The look is warm with deep colour, though Shane will adjust the grade for couples who prefer a softer, washed-out film style. Multiple cameras and professional audio gear capture the ceremony and speeches, and a drone adds aerial views at suitable venues. Local films include weddings at Panorama House at Bulli Tops, the Illawarra Yacht Club and Seacliff House in Gerringong. Shane works alongside your photographer rather than competing for the same shots, and arrives early with gear packed in tidy cases. Beyond weddings, he films proposals, corporate events, trade shows and conventions, as well as dance concerts for local studios. Planning is flexible. Many couples sort the details by phone, video call or email, while others prefer to meet in person first. Timings for the day are confirmed a few days before the wedding, and the finished films are delivered in a presentation case with an online link to share with family and friends.

How much does Capture You Videography cost?
The ceremony package starts at $2,100. A larger package covering the ceremony, photo shoot, speeches, cake cutting and bridal waltz starts at $3,890, and full-day coverage is quoted on enquiry.
Does Capture You Videography take photos as well?
No. Shane films the video and your photographer takes the stills. He is used to working beside photographers on the day without getting in each other's way.
Can you film with a drone?
Yes. Drone footage is part of the kit, with aerial shots filmed at coastal venues such as Seacliff House in Gerringong.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
Shane works with the weather rather than against it, finding shots that suit the conditions, and encourages couples to keep smiling through it.
Do we need to meet before the wedding?
It is up to you. Many couples plan by phone, video call or email, but Shane is happy to meet in person, and timings are confirmed a few days out.
