About The Glasshouse @ The Fiddler
The Fiddler is an Irish pub on the corner of Commercial Road and Windsor Road at Rouse Hill, trading on a site with history reaching back to 1826. Today it runs a bistro, a pizzeria and several bars, with live music and sport across the week. The Glasshouse is one of the pub's two named function spaces. Natural light pours through its glass walls, plants and greenery run through the room, and it is divided into several areas, so a group can take the zone that fits its numbers. The pub pitches the room at milestone birthdays, engagement celebrations and social events. Long timber tables and bentwood chairs suit a seated meal, and the brighter daytime setting works well for lunches and early-evening parties. Food comes from the pub kitchen, whose menu covers pub classics, steaks, salads and wood-fired pizzas, with gluten-free and vegan pizza bases available. You are welcome to bring a cake – there is no cakeage charge, staff will keep it in the fridge, and knives and plates are supplied for you to serve it. Small decorations such as balloons are allowed, but confetti and glitter are not. Groups larger than 30 are handled as functions rather than table bookings, so send an enquiry to book and the functions team will confirm space, menu and timing for your date.

Frequently asked questions
What is The Glasshouse like?
It is a glass-walled room with plenty of daylight and greenery throughout. The space is divided into several areas, so the pub can match the section to the size of your group.
What size group needs a function booking?
Bookings of more than 30 guests go through the functions team rather than the table booking system. The pub notes that groups beyond 60 need a private events room.
Can we bring our own birthday cake?
Yes. The Fiddler charges no cakeage fee and can store the cake in its fridge. Staff provide knives and plates, but guests cut and serve the cake themselves.
Are decorations allowed?
Small decorations such as balloons are fine. Confetti and glitter are not permitted.
What food is available?
The kitchen serves pub favourites, steaks, salads and wood-fired pizzas. Gluten-free and vegan pizza bases are available, and the menu flags gluten-free and dairy-free options.
