About Laneway @ Padstow Park Hotel
Padstow Park Hotel is a local pub on Howard Road in Padstow, with a bistro, bars, live entertainment and accommodation. Functions are a regular part of the week here, and the hotel's functions coordinator looks after catering, decorations and music. The Laneway is the hotel's outdoor function space, lined with plants, timber planter boxes and festoon lights, with high tables and stools along its length. It takes functions of 50 to 100 guests and suits a stand-up, mingling format. Food comes from the pub kitchen as share platters: cheese, antipasti, vegetable sticks with dips, fresh or hot seafood, chicken satay and lamb souvlaki skewers, plus slider platters and a pizza bar. Cold and hot canapé platters add tartlets, crostini, arancini, spring rolls and sausage rolls. Drinks can run on a bar tab arranged with the coordinator, and you can bring one birthday cake, which staff store and serve with a knife and serviettes. DJs can be booked through the hotel with a microphone and lighting, and AV connections are available for music and presentations. All functions last five hours, finish by midnight and need at least 20 guests. The hotel doesn't take 18th birthday bookings, and 21sts need a security guard. Send an enquiry to book.

A $200 deposit secures the booking, and a 10% surcharge applies on public holidays. Platters are priced individually – for example $70 for a cheese platter, $60 for 25 cold or hot canapés and $120 for 20 sliders.

The hotel doesn't take 18th birthday bookings. 21sts are welcome with one security guard for the night at a flat $200, and yard glasses aren't allowed.
Can we have a DJ?
Yes, the hotel can book a DJ for a minimum of two hours, with microphone and lighting included. Music volume is at the manager's discretion, so run your plans past the coordinator.
