About Darling Harbour Getaway
Darling Harbour Getaway is a single privately owned holiday apartment on the 12th floor of the One Darling Harbour building on Murray Street, Pyrmont. Owners Sandra and Mick bought it after years of visiting the area and fitted it out to the standard they expect themselves, down to the linen. It suits a family or two couples travelling in for a wedding, a milestone birthday or a weekend event who would rather share a proper apartment than book separate hotel rooms. The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and takes up to four guests. One bedroom can be set up with a king bed or two singles. The open-plan living and dining area has timber floors and sliding doors onto a large outdoor deck that looks across the water to the city skyline. There is a full kitchen with an oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge, plus a washer and dryer, air conditioning and heating, wifi, a TV and a safe. Linen and towels are supplied, the building has lift access and the apartment is non-smoking. For getting around, the owners put the city centre at about 1.1 km, or a 15-minute walk: out along Murray Street, over Pyrmont Bridge and up to Market Street. A Coles supermarket sits a short walk away on Union Street, and a medical practice is on the corner of Edward and Union streets. Parking for one car is included at no charge, which helps a family driving in for the weekend. Stays are booked through the Book Now calendar on the apartment's website, and the owners can be reached directly by phone or email.
