About CMC Party Buses
CMC Party Buses runs a fleet of three themed party buses, and the Hunter Valley sits inside its standard local hire zone. Winery days are among the trips it runs, alongside hens and bucks nights, birthdays, pub crawls, festivals, weddings, school formals and staff parties. Each bus has its own look: pink for hens nights and birthdays, yellow for formals and big groups of friends, and black for the sleeker Rapper Bus. Every bus holds Transport for NSW accreditation, seats up to 35 and comes with one of the company's drivers. Inside are leather seats, tinted glass and air conditioning, along with a pole on the dance floor, LED party lighting and a powerful sound system, and karaoke and screens are listed too. Passengers over 18 may bring alcohol with valid ID, ideally in cans or plastic rather than glass, and ice buckets are supplied. You book the bus and driver for a set number of hours, and the driver follows the itinerary you send ahead, with details confirmed two days before travel. Check that every winery or venue you plan to visit accepts big groups, and be at each pick-up point on time, since extra time is charged at $200 an hour. The $300 bond is returned after the trip as long as the bus comes back undamaged.

Frequently asked questions
Do they run Hunter Valley winery days?
Yes. Wine tours are one of the listed services, and the Hunter Valley is part of the company's standard local zone for six-hour hire.
How many people fit on a bus?
Each of the three buses takes up to 35 passengers. Give your group size when you enquire and the team will confirm which bus is free.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes, as long as everyone drinking is 18 or over and carries valid ID. Glass is discouraged in favour of cans and plastic bottles, and ice buckets are provided.
How does the bond work?
You pay a $300 bond to hold the bus, and it goes back to your bank account within about seven working days if there is no damage. Cancelling the booking means the bond is kept.
What if we run over time?
Time beyond your booking costs $200 an hour, so build some slack into the plan and be ready at each pick-up. Send the itinerary ahead and confirm details two days before travel.
