About Wild Blue Studio
Wild Blue Studio is a floristry and event styling studio based in the Blue Mountains. Instead of hiring a florist, a stylist and a stationer separately, clients get all three from one team, which keeps the look consistent from the invitations through to the last table setting. Weddings make up much of the work, alongside company functions and private celebrations. The studio has designed for weddings at Dryridge Estate and Lot 101 in the Megalong Valley, the Hydro Majestic in Medlow Bath, Lilianfels, Parklands and Kyah in Blackheath, Dantosa in Katoomba, the Glasshouse at Falls Rest in Leura and Dennarque Estate in Mount Wilson. Past projects range from an all-white table with ruffled napkins, white delphiniums and handmade clay place cards, to a vivid wedding in the Hydro Majestic's Boiler House lit by the studio's own neon sign. For one couple's two-day cultural wedding at Dantosa, the team hung metres of flower garlands for the Gaye Holud blessing, then softened the palette to lilac, mauve and pink with a floral installation above the dance floor for the main celebration. The studio also staged a surprise 40th birthday lunch at a private estate in Blackheath, with a full tablescape for the guest of honour's closest friends and family. Sustainability shapes the work: the team avoids floral foam and composts its green waste. Send an enquiry with your date, venue and ideas to get a quote.

Frequently asked questions
Can Wild Blue Studio do our stationery as well as the flowers?
Yes. The studio offers floristry, event styling and stationery together, so invitations, place cards and menus can be designed to match the flowers and table styling.
Which Blue Mountains venues have you worked at?
Venues include Dryridge Estate and Lot 101 in the Megalong Valley, the Hydro Majestic in Medlow Bath, Lilianfels, Parklands and Kyah in Blackheath, Dantosa in Katoomba, the Glasshouse at Falls Rest in Leura and Dennarque Estate in Mount Wilson.
Do you use floral foam?
No. The studio avoids floral foam and other harmful products and composts its green waste, so the flowers for your event have a smaller environmental impact.
Do you only do weddings?
Weddings are a large part of the work, but the studio also styles company events and private celebrations – one example is a surprise 40th birthday lunch with a full tablescape at a private estate in Blackheath.
Can you create large installations such as hanging flowers?
Yes. Past weddings include metres of hanging flower garlands for a Gaye Holud blessing, a floral installation suspended over a dance floor, ceremony arbours and flower-framed neon signage.
