About Wollongong Party Hire
Wollongong Party Hire supplies party equipment around Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama. The range covers photo booths, karaoke jukeboxes, cocktail machines, disco lights, marquees, tables, chairs, heaters and snow cone machines. Photo booths are the main offer, in four formats that share the same camera unit: an enclosed booth for up to three adults, a curtain booth with velvet drapes, an open photo wall with a 3 m green screen and a 3 m printed backdrop. Guests use the touch screen to choose templates, backgrounds and virtual props, and prints come out at the party. Each package includes Party Server, which shows a slideshow and lets guests send phone photos to the printer. You also get a photo album and a USB stick of every photo and video message. Booths need an undercover spot, and set-up takes 45 to 60 minutes. Optional prop boxes add hats, wigs and glasses for sillier shots. Delivery runs from Austinmer to Gerringong, with no trips up the escarpment passes. Delivery is free in the local zone when a booth, jukebox, marquee or cocktail machine is in the order. Prop boxes add $50 and a karaoke jukebox on Party Server adds $100. Delivered orders have a $100 minimum.
Equipment & Service Details
Booths must be indoors or under cover, and the printed backdrop carries a $100 bond. Chairs, tables and heaters are delivered only. Other items can be collected, and delivery costs $50 to $80 depending on the zone unless a free-delivery item is in the order.
Frequently asked questions
Do the photo booths come with an attendant?
No. The touch-screen booths let guests choose their own layouts, backgrounds and virtual props, which keeps the hire price down.
How many prints are included?
A half-roll package covers up to 350 prints and a full roll up to 700, all 6x4 inches and printed at the event. Once the roll is used, photos still save to the USB stick.
Which areas does Wollongong Party Hire deliver to?
From Austinmer in the north to Gerringong in the south. Delivery is free locally between Windang, Dapto and Kiama for booth, jukebox, marquee and cocktail machine hires, with small surcharges further out.
Can the equipment be collected on the night?
Hire normally runs overnight, with pickup the next morning. If your venue is not secure overnight, such as a hall, a late-night pickup can be added for $70.
How much space does a photo booth need?
The enclosed booth needs about 1.5 m by 1.2 m under cover. The photo wall needs a 3 m wall with the camera 2 to 3 m in front, and the curtain booth adjusts to the room.
