About AVANTI Car Collection
AVANTI Car Collection is a wedding and occasion car business based in Somerville on the Mornington Peninsula. Its collection of nine cars is mostly American and European classics, and the team delivers the chosen car to the couple rather than asking them to collect it. Visits to see the cars in person are by appointment. The classics are three Cadillac convertibles from 1958, 1959 and 1960, finished in Ebony Black, Gotham Gold and Olympic White, along with a red Lincoln Continental from 1964 and a green and white 1959 Dodge Coronet. Most seat five, with the 1959 Cadillac taking four, so the bride can travel with part of the bridal party. The soft tops fold down for a fine day and go back up if the weather turns. For the couple alone there are two 1957 Porsche 356 Speedsters, one black and one silver, along with a white Audi R8 V10 Plus from 2017 and a Lamborghini Huracan from 2018 in matte grey. Couples sometimes book a classic for the arrival and a modern car for photos or the departure. Any car can be hired with a uniformed chauffeur, as a self-drive hire or for a photo shoot only. Prices depend on the car, the date and the hours, so send an enquiry with your date, pick-up time and venue and AVANTI comes back with availability and a price.

The classic convertibles have folding roofs, so they can run open in good weather and be closed up if a shower comes through, keeping the dress dry.
