RSV Limo Hire, the trading name of Raco Special Vehicles, is a limousine company based in Melbourne that runs its own fleet down to the Mornington Peninsula. Pick-ups cover the whole Peninsula, from Mount Eliza, Mornington and Mount Martha through Dromana, Rosebud, Rye, Sorrento and Portsea, and across to Somerville, Hastings, Flinders, Merricks, Main Ridge and Red Hill. Every car is owned by the company rather than subcontracted, and each one comes with a suited, licensed chauffeur. Winery tours are among the most common Peninsula bookings. Tell the team which cellar doors you want to visit, where to collect everyone and how many are coming, and they will price the day in a vehicle sized to the group, whether a prestige sedan for a couple, a Hummer or the Cosmo, a Mercedes coach rebuilt as a limo and licensed to carry 43. The Hummer limos carry 14 to 16 people and are fitted out with colour-changing fibre optics, strobes, screens and a bar area, which suits birthdays, 18ths, 21sts, hens and bucks groups. Weddings at vineyard and coastal venues are the other big draw. Couples often travel in a classic Rolls Royce or Bentley, or a 1950s Chevrolet, while the bridal party follows in a ten- or eleven-seat stretch such as a Chrysler, Maserati or Bentley. Wedding hires of four hours or longer come with ribbons, a red carpet and bubbly. Hire is charged by the hour, and every quote is built on the vehicle, the date, the hours and the route, counting the drive to and from the Peninsula.
