About Bensville Riding School
Bensville Riding School is a family-run riding school on a green property in Bensville. Alongside lessons and holiday programs, it hosts pony ride birthday parties for children and runs gentle trail rides that suit beginners and families. A birthday booking gives every child a 20-minute ride on a pony picked to suit them, with fitted helmets and a safe fenced arena. The family then has the grounds for 2.5 hours, including an undercover party area with tables, chairs and tablecloths. There is a barbecue and a place to warm food, but no on-site catering, so families bring their own spread and cake. Parties need at least 10 riders, and extra riders are added for $45 each. Riders must be three or older, and the ride can fit before or after games, presents and lunch. Send an enquiry with your preferred date to hold the booking. The trail rides are slow and steady, walking pace only, and suit first-timers who want a calm introduction to horses. Each ride takes two to six riders, and the two-rider booking is listed at $150. Private trails can be arranged on request, and extra rides are offered on weekdays and in school holidays. Every rider needs long pants and enclosed shoes with a heel, and helmets are supplied on the day.
