About JK Deco
JK Deco, a decorating team based in Melbourne, also takes on celebrations in the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges. Its main work is South Asian weddings – Indian, Punjabi, Sikh and Islamic – blending cultural traditions with a modern finish. Jobs range from small ceremonies to celebrations spread over several days. For a Hindu ceremony, couples pick a mandap style – white and gold, crystal and acrylic, classic floral or minimal – and the flowers and colours are matched to the venue. Anand Karaj decor is kept understated for the gurdwara, while nikaah set-ups suit halls, mosques and outdoor spaces, with walima receptions styled as well. Reception stages are dressed with a custom backdrop, flowers, lighting, a sofa and chairs, and decorative touches. The lead-up functions are covered too: mehndi, haldi and jaago nights, engagements, bridal showers and car decoration. Beyond weddings, JK Deco styles birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, poojas, house warmings, business openings and corporate functions, mixing balloons with flowers and drapes. Couples who only need a few pieces can hire backdrops, welcome signs and table centrepieces on their own. Every booking begins with a consultation. On the day, the team delivers, installs and packs down on site, whether that is a winery, a function room, a private home or a garden.

What does JK Deco's wedding decoration package include?
The published package starts from $2,500 and covers six metres of staging, three white or custom-coloured pieces, flowers in your palette and backdrop drapes in your theme. Transport and set-up costs come on top and vary with the venue's location.
Can JK Deco style a wedding at a Yarra Valley winery?
Yes. The team brings, installs and removes all the decor on site, so wineries, function rooms, gardens and private homes all work. Set-up and transport costs depend on the location and are confirmed in your quote.
Which mandap designs can we choose from?
Options include classic floral mandaps, crystal and acrylic structures, gold royal designs, white and gold styling, minimal frames and fully custom themes. Each one is adjusted to your colours, chosen flowers and the size of the space.
Does JK Deco decorate Sikh and Muslim weddings?
Yes. Anand Karaj ceremonies are styled simply and respectfully to suit gurdwara guidelines. Nikaah set-ups can be indoors or outside with drapes, floral arches, aisle styling and soft lighting, and walima receptions are styled too.
