About The Birdie Bunker
The Birdie Bunker is an indoor golf lounge in Oak Flats built around private simulator bays. Each bay has a large 4K screen and ball tracking that reads every swing, so you can play well-known courses from around the world, compete in multiplayer games or simply blast drives. It is set up as much for socialising as for practice, with comfy lounge seating behind the hitting area and a licensed bar. A bay comfortably holds up to six people, which suits a small birthday crew or a work team spread across a few bays. Standard bookings run for an hour, and longer blocks can be arranged for groups and events; as a guide, nine holes for three or four players takes roughly 60 to 90 minutes. Balls and tees are supplied, a set of hire clubs is $10, and all you need is comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Staff check you in, show you to your bay and explain the touchscreen controls, so first-timers can get going quickly. Food and drinks can be ordered while you play, and the events team looks after bucks parties, birthday celebrations and corporate team-building days with catering and beverage packages. How much does a bay cost?
A one-hour bay at peak times (after 4pm on weekdays, plus weekends and public holidays) starts from $49, while a two-hour booking starts at $89. The price covers the bay, which takes up to six players.
How big a group fits in each bay?
Each simulator bay fits up to six people comfortably. Larger groups can spread across several bays, and the events team can help plan timings for bigger parties.
Do we need our own clubs?
No. Balls and tees are included, and a set of hire clubs costs $10. Players who own clubs are welcome to bring them along.
Is it suitable for people who have never played golf?
Yes. The tracking gives instant feedback on each swing, staff explain the controls when you arrive, and private lessons with PGA coaches are there for anyone keen to learn properly.
Can we order food and drinks?
Yes, there is a selection of food and drinks to order while you play, and the venue has a licensed bar. Event bookings can add catering and beverage packages.
