• The Ballroom @ Crows Nest Hotel is a heritage function room with an open fireplace, chesterfield lounges, intricate detailing and good natural light, which is worth seeing at the time of day your reception actually starts.
• Capacity is up to 160 standing or 80 for a sit-down dinner, with 80 cabaret style. A cocktail reception gets you the bigger number; a seated wedding breakfast does not.
• Wedding dates are usually locked in further ahead than any other kind of booking, so enquire as early as you can and ask what deposit holds the date while you decide.
• The room is from $3,200 minimum spend, being a $200 hire fee plus $3,000 on food and drinks, and the alcohol licence runs to 3am. Ask what that spend translates to per head at your numbers before comparing it to a package quoted another way.
