About The Little Teapot

The Little Teapot is a family-run café inside a 1925 cottage in Davistown, restored by owners Keith and Helen and filled with antiques, collectables and vintage china. It has been a local meeting place since 2006, and high tea is what it is known for, with every sandwich, scone, slice and tart made in its own kitchen. The Classic High Tea brings finger sandwiches, a freshly baked scone served with jam and cream, homemade slices and mini tarts, and a pot of loose-leaf tea or a large coffee for each guest. There is also a savoury version, and a children's high tea with a sandwich, party pie, mini sausage roll, scone and a little teacup, so a family group can book together. Dietary needs are catered for when you mention them at booking. The cottage can also be hired exclusively on evenings and weekends, when about 40 guests fit inside, the covered back deck takes roughly 40 more, and there is extra seating in the garden. Hire covers the space, furniture, china, catering and staff, and it suits bridal and baby showers, hens gatherings, birthdays of any age and children's parties, and the café is BYO.
