About Lovers Lane Weddings & Events
Lovers Lane Weddings & Events is a boutique hire and styling studio based in Newcastle, and it travels to Central Coast venues. Creative director Mardi Sullivan, who trained in interior design, founded it in 2022, and her husband Tom runs the warehouse and makes some of the pieces himself. The look is soft and romantic, leaning on satin, linen, candlelight and ceramic forms. Furniture includes two service bars, one forest green and one ecru ivory, which work for drinks, desserts or grazing, plus a tiered round table. Tables can be dressed with plates, glassware, cutlery, cake stands and linen, while draping, plinths, props, wishing wells, signing table sets and a gold mirror welcome sign fill out the room. A champagne tower is available with its own table. Getting the order to your venue is charged at $2 per km each way from the warehouse, and you can instead collect on a Thursday and return on the following Tuesday. Glassware, candleware and linen may attract a cleaning fee, and some orders carry a bond. Couples who would rather hand over the styling can book design and styling, with a stylist and helpers on site for up to ten hours. Partial planning adds supplier management and coordination on the day, and planning clients get the tabletop collection plus a lower rate on further hire.
